Vipers Make a Second Trade

In their second trade of the day the
Vernon Vipers have acquired the rights to 17 year old Liam Finlay from the Penticton Vees for future considerations.

Finlay who is from Kelowna is a 5’7 145 pound forward who is committed to Denver University for the 2016-2017 season.

In 10 games this season with the Vees he posted 1 goal and 4 assists.  Last season with the Okanagan Major Midget Rockets he was third in team scoring with 17 goals and 51 points.

Finlay will be familiar to some of his new teammates as he will join former Rocket mates Mitch Oliver, Branden Wagner and Linden Hora.

He will make his Viper debut on Saturday when the Vipers host the Merritt Centennials at 6pm.
