The defending Interior Division Conference Champion Vernon Vipers return home from a three game road trip where they went 2-1 over the weekend.  The Vipers are coming off a 8-2 loss in Nanaimo Sunday afternoon snapped a four game winning streak.  Vernon sits 2nd place in the Interior Division are twelve points back of 1st place Penticton.  The Vipers are four points up on West Kelowna and seven points up on Merritt.  Vernon has won four of their last five and are 8-2-0-0 in their last ten games.  The Vipers have just five regulation losses on home ice will finish 2014 with two of their final three games at home.  Vernon won two of the three meetings vs the Eagles last season will play in Surrey on January 11th 2015.

The Surrey Eagles make their first and only visit of the regular season to Kal Tire Place this evening.  The Eagles are coming off a 6-5 loss to the visiting Langley Rivermen Sunday afternoon.  Surrey comes into tonight's contest having lost three straight.  Surrey sits last in the Mainland Division and last overall in the League with just four wins.  The Eagles come into tonight's game without a win on the road going 0-12-0-2 this season away from home.  The Eagles has just one win in their last five and are 1-9-0-0 in their last ten games.  Surrey has just one win in their last twenty games.  The Eagles have scored a league low 78 goals this season while giving up a league worst 168 goals.
