The Vernon Vipers make their first and only regular season visit to the Town Toyota Center are coming off a 4-1 loss to the visiting Merritt Centennials Tuesday. This is the second meeting of three between the Vipers & Wild after Wenatchee defeated Vernon 3-2 in Chilliwack at the BCHL Showcase in September. Vernon has lost three of their last five and have just two wins in their last seven games. The Vipers have lost four of their last seven games on the road. The Vipers sit 4th in the Interior Division are four points up on Merritt & five points back of West Kelowna.

The expansion Wenatchee Wild are coming off a 2-1 victory over the visiting Prince George Spruce Kings last night, have won three in a row. The Wild have won four of their last five games and are 7-2-1-0 in their last ten. Wenatchee is 7-1-1-0 at home this season, has won five straight on home ice. Tonight is the fourth game of a four game home stand before the Wild hit the road for the next three. Wenatchee is tied in points with Chilliwack but get 2nd place in the Mainland Division will face the Vipers once more before the season comes to an end. Wenatchee will play in Vernon on February 26th, Prior to joining the BCHL the Wild played in the NAHL since the 2008-09 season. Last year Wenatchee went 27-25-8 before losing in three straight in the first round of the NAHL Playoffs. The Wild have seven players returning from last year's team.

Joseph Drabin (11-8-19) leads the team in goals with eleven while Brendan Harris (5-16-21) leads the team in scoring with twenty one points.
