Former Viper Goaltender Barry No Longer With Clippers:

Former Vernon Vipers goaltender Brendan Barry is no longer with the
Nanaimo Clippers.

Barry played last season with the Penticton Vees & Vernon Vipers. The Vees sent Barry home September 12th 2015 for violation of team policy, was later released after playing in just one game with Penticton. The Vipers signed Barry October 1st 2015 played in 13 games with the Vipers last season going 4-6 posting a 4.24 GAA. Barry was a no show at Vipers training camp in August, was released before signing with the Nanaimo Clippers August 22nd 2016. Barry played one game this season with Nanaimo before no longer being listed on the Clippers roster. Barry was taken off the Clippers roster after Nanaimo acquired goaltender Evan DeBrouwer from the Smith Falls Bears September 15th 2016. No official word if Barry was released or traded.
