The HCP HAS new coach

July 24 2016

„ A new league is like a new life “ - fans sing in stages sometimes effusively. And one enters a " new life “ often also with a new partner – in the case of the HC Pustertal with a new coach. After with Mario Richer and Kim Collins last stated European insiders stood in the wolf tapes, one goes this year completely new ways. The coach of the HCP comes from the extreme west Kanada's (British Columbia), is 2-facher father of a family and can count in spite of his "only" 47 years already for more than 20 years of Coaching experience. His name is Mark HOLICK.

As a player it brought Holick as a " Tough of Guy “ (hard fellow) till the AHL, was, however, at the age of 25 years of end with the player's career. Already in the year after his resignation the change followed the bench – namely as a Co coach in his hometown. Many years followed as a Headcoach in the junior leagues BCHL (British Columbia hockey league), AJHL (Alberta Junior Hockey League) and WHL (western hockey league). The summoning for west Canada U17 choice with today's big NHL stars followed after some strong results this as for example Carey Price (2004). Also in the AHL Holick Headcoach, namely in 2009 to Jänner was in 2012 with Syracuse Crunch. In this time nominated him the home Ana Ducks in her Scouting team. During the last years the Canadian with the Prince George Cougars ran good results in the WHL, before Holick gave notice there to search a new challenge – which he has found now without doubt.

The HC Pustertal and his fans greet the new coach of the wolves warmly and wish a good work on the Rienz!
